Our Story
Trinity Presbyterian Church began in 1997 as a prayerful movement among Owasso Christians seeking a local, gospel-centered, Reformed community. Originating as a small group from Christ Presbyterian Church in Tulsa and supported by RiverOaks Presbyterian, the group began monthly services in 2010. By late 2010, they met weekly at the Owasso Sixth Grade Center under the name "Redeemer Owasso."
In summer 2011, the congregation called Rev. Blake Altman as its church planter. The church was officially renamed Trinity Presbyterian Church in October 2011 and welcomed its first 42 members on Easter Sunday 2012.

After moving between venues including the Owasso YMCA, Trinity returned to the Sixth Grade Center in 2014 to accommodate its growing fellowship.
Committed to church planting, Trinity helped launch two daughter churches from its community groups:
Three Rivers Presbyterian Church (Grove, OK) – Established in 2015, led by Rev. Mark Kuiper and later Rev. Spencer Murphy.
Hope Presbyterian Church (Bartlesville, OK) – Established in 2018, led by Rev. Peter Johnson.
In 2018, Trinity purchased 15 acres at 76th Street North and North Memorial Drive in Owasso. Through the ROOTS capital campaign, the church paid off the land by 2020. Following temporary relocations during the COVID-19 pandemic, Trinity launched the RISE campaign in 2021 to fund Phase 1 construction.
Trinity broke ground in April 2022 and began worshipping debt-free in its new multipurpose space, Trinity Hall, in February 2025. Today, Trinity remains a vibrant congregation within the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), dedicated to sharing the gospel across northeast Oklahoma.
